"Cats" The Musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Cats is a musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot, and produced by Cameron McIntosh.
The musical tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and
the night they make what is known as "the Jellicle choice" and decide
which cat will ascend to the 'Heaviside Lair' and come back to a new life. Cats also introduced the song "Memory".

I saw Cats on stage. I didn't like it very much to be honest, but I love this song. I love all of Andrew Lloyd Weber's other musicals, just this one wasn't a favorite.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I never saw cats live before, but the singer has an amazing voice and she sings so passionately. The melody is nice.
ReplyDeleteOne day I am going to go see a broadway musical. It is neat to see this video, but I couldn't imagine what it would be like to see it in person! Beautiful voice!!
