I chose a documentary as my film. Here Michael Moore explores all that is wrong with our health care system. His view is shared by so many Americans that he was able to bring some of their experiences into his documentary.
The whole health care system is about money! From the procedure to the drugs, everything is about money. My grandmother has a number of conditions that she refuses to take medication for. She drastically changed her diet to ALL organic, NO dairy, NO wheat, NO pork, NO soy, NO high fructose corn syrup. Seems like she can't eat anything. Any who, she lied to the doctor and told him she was taking the prescribed medication and he praised her conditions turn around, lol.
I agree with Naomi, it is all about money. I mean really, we are imposing a fine on people who cannot afford health care insurance. What sense does this make? Instead of forcing us, why not give out free vouchers for physicals.
It is high profile films such as this, along with movements in our society that will help us gain more nonpartisan votes for the improvements in healthcare we need and improvements in our government. Great post
